Many Questions... Houston or Galveston?

You need to decide if you want to stay on

1. Gulf of Mexico Beach Area (many hotels)

2. Historic Old Town Strand – Terminal Port Area (Tremont and Harbor House)

3. Bayside Area (2) Moody Gardens Hotels

Tremont and Harbor House are 2-3 blocks to terminal.

Everything is close though!

All hotel/motels are just two or so miles from terminal anyway.

We usually stay over night before our cruise. Is it easier to stay over night in Houston or Galveston? What transportation do you use to get to Galveston?

Think I'd stay in Galveston. Unless you have transportation, Houston is a big city (with little public transportation) to get around in.
