Scuba Diving Grand Cayman

Hello,

 

We are a family of 4 certified divers who are sailing the Celebrity Millenium to Grand Cayman in December.

Never having done a scuba excursion from a cruise ship before we have a few questions.

First does anyone know which dive operator Celebrity uses in Grand Cayman? Does anyone have any opinions or information about this operation?

Will doing a dive excursion through the cruise ship result in a "cattle boat" crowded type of experience?

Any information is very much appreciated!:D

while this may seem like too much to read, many can be dismissed from the subject leaving a TON of information; aka opinions . . . .

 

Cayman provides many options for a great dive from shore to boat operators . . .

 

I have hundreds of dives in the Caymans and don't immediately discount the ship's tours as substandard. Altho today I find less need to dive the wall and get max depths and am usually happy for a DIY shore dive . . .

I dove independent of Celebrity when I visited last year and had a good day with Neptune's Divers.
