Venice after ship tour

We are booked on a Princess tour of Murano a Burano trip. It finishes about 2pm, but we do not leave Venice until 9pm. Can we return later using Princess' water shuttle without cost, as opposed to returning by our arranged tour?

When we were in Venice with Princess a couple of years ago, there was a shuttle between the ship and San Marco, but there was a charge for it.

Princess runs a shuttle service from port to St Marks Square, but they used to charge a set fee (for unlimited use). You can also take the new People Mover from the port over to Piazale Roma (or you can walk this in about 20 min) where there is a major ACTV dock (vaporettos). Also keep in mind that if you simply buy a multi use vaporetto pass (they sell this for 12, 24, 36, 48 and 72 hours unlimited use) you can use the vaporettos to get to Murano or Burano on your own schedule (you do not need a guide for these very walkable islands) at less cost then a tour.
