Me and the wife are going on our first ever B2B! Were both so excited. She didn't know about the 2ND cruise until last night (which was our first wedding anniversary) lets just say she was ecstatic...:D my question is Are there self service laundry facilities on the destiny?

Yes, all ships have them.

 

Name: Launderettes

 

Location: Riviera Deck 1 - midship / across from 1253 and 1255

 

Main Deck 2 - midship / across from 2253 and 2255

 

Upper Deck 6 - midship / across from 6289 and 6291

 

Empress Deck 7 - midship / across from 7239 and 7241

 

Verandah Deck 8 - midship / across from 8249 and 8251

 

Lido Deck 9 - midship / across from 9188 and 9190

 

Hours: hours posted on the door to the Laundry

 

Function: Self-Service Launderette

 

2 or 3 washers

2 or 3 dryers

1 iron and ironing board

Vending machines dispense small boxes of detergent and water softener

Most ships have slf service laundry.

Check the deck plans to see where they are located.

It's done, but it's a pain because you have to pack, disembark one ship, embark another ship, unpack etc. The beauty of a B2B, especially if you stay in the same cabin, is unpacking once. There are a number of ships that do alternative itineraries. Plus so many crew members know you that it's like having family on board with you.

 

Just did a B2B on the Liberty in January. Loved it.

2. Are you credited with 2 cruises?

If Carnival treats the shorter cruises like the 7 day cruises B2B, enjoy the bottle of champagne and fruit basket you should receive between cruises.

Just off my b2b on the Destiny - was amazing! And so much fun not to have to pack and leave and have the whole ship to ourselves for a few hours!

 

Also enjoyed the fruit basket and bottle of champagne gift! :D:D
