Gas fee

None of the cruiselines, including Carnival, have done this --- yet. Language is in your cruise contract to protect them if they decide to add the fuel surcharge to existing and fully paid for reservations. I'd prefer to spend the $$ on another DOD (or two :o) per day, but it will not affect my decision to cruise.

Good luck! :)

I read this morning on the Carnival web site that OBC is used for on board expenses and can’t be used for the fuel surcharge. I was hoping that our OBC would cover the extra fee if it was added. Like everyone else I am hoping the surcharge does not get reinstated.

Go to the Casino, buy chips, charge to SS, cash out, ta-da...cash credit ;)
