weloverunning Posted March 6, 2011 #26 Share Posted March 6, 2011 Thanks MonicaMN. We are going on the Sky in two weeks. We will be purschasing a future cruise certificate to put the deposit on the 11-day Dawn. I will check in with the Roll Call upon our booking when we return. thefudgecompany Posted March 6, 2011 #27 Share Posted March 6, 2011 We did a cruise in January on NCl 14 day from Maimi to LA. There were less than 20 kids on board from 0-18 ( 2 of which were mine). It was awesome. I agree with some of the posts above the longer cruises are typically more expensive therefore less children. Also many parents don't want to take their kids out of school for a holiday so you should be fairly safe with your choice to join NCL. Hope you enjoy! tiggerfan616 Posted March 6, 2011 #28 Share Posted March 6, 2011 We cruised Jan 28th-Feb 6th and there were mayb 50 kids onboard including my own son (9), and they were all very well behaved. Next year he will be doing the 11day with us, I have no issues taking him out of school, my theory is he's getting life experience with me and probaly learning more then just sitting in his classroom. But I think the more number of days the cruise the higher the median age will be especially during non-break times.
Barb Nahoumi Posted March 7, 2011 #29 Share Posted March 7, 2011 I was also on an NCL 14 day cruise in Late September. There were very few kids aboard. On that cruise, many of the passengers were middle aged.
