Vancouver Tranfers

Recommended Posts

Can some one please be kind enough to help me with tranfer information?:)

1. Transfer from airport to Pan Pacific Hotel?

2. Transfer from Pan Pacific to Island Princess Cruise Ship?

Best to take a taxi? Or is there a better option?

(Travel agency does not book this if you are only staying 1 night in Vancouver...sigh)

The Pan Pacific Hotel is at Canada Place which is where the cruise terminal is.

From the airport to the hotel if you don't have too many luggage and are adventurous you can take the Canada Line rapid transit that connect the airport to downtown Vancouver. The Waterfront station (last station downtown) has an exit which is less than a block from Canada Place. The trip on the rapid transit will take about 30 minutes. Plus walking time. We did it last spring and it was easy. I have no idea how long a taxi ride would take, but definitively longer than the train ride.

Have fun on your cruise

1. Subway; runs from Airport to 3 blocks from your hotel. faster and much cheaper than a taxi

2. You have the choice of stairs or an elevator to go from your room down to the parkade level where the cruise terminal. I suppose in a pinch you could go back on the street and take the outside ramp next to the vehicle entrance down; but I image most people would pick the elevator

(they're part of the same building)
