Grandeur from NOLA Formal Night Question

We're on the Grandeur, departing April 9. There are two formal nights - which one is "more formal?" The first or the second formal night? :rolleyes: Guess what I'm asking is, if YOU had a dress you liked better, would you wear it on the first, or the second formal night?

I would say they are equally formal...I would wear my favorite on the first night. If there is any chance of one becoming "tight" due to all the good food, I would wear it first!:D

I think both nights are pretty much the same. We were on just this last month. The first formal night my husband wore a suit and the second night he wore a sport coat and pants with tie and felt very comforable. The first night I wore the dress I wore to my son's wedding and the second night I work dress pants.

Definately wear your favorite on the first!! It did seem like on the first night everyone was all glamored up more then the second night.
