We just got off the dream, and I believe decks 1 and 2 were red, 6 and 7 were white, and 8 and above were blue. 100% on blue, b/c we were deck 10. Blue won! It was fun to do some of the activities, but we spent a lot of time laughing at the people taking it WAY too seriously, getting all ticked off at trivia games and such.

Can someone tell me what are color wars.

Basically, you are assigned to a color depending on what deck your cabin is on. For each activity like "Hairy Chest", "Trivia", etc. they ask the winner what color they are assigned to. Then they are awarded points to that color. At the end, they announce who the winning color is. It's a competition but no prizes are awarded to the winner other than being the winner.

Never sailed Dream but my understanding is Butch is the CD. We had not seen the color wars in a while but when Butch was on Liberty last Jan he did the color wars and made the last deck party a real blast!! I was hoping the Color Crawl or whatever it was to the deck party was a new addition to the entertainment. Well it was not on Spirit so it leads me to assume it's Butch thing.

Please go enjoy and say hi to Butch for me.

We did this last May on the Liberty. We were deck 7 - white. We ended up winning. This was so much fun to be a part of. One part involved learning a line dance-they were teaching in near the casino. We had just done group dancing in the disco-twist, etc. We were chanting our simple cheer, 'go white team, go white team go.' and we were so loud, I swear the ship was shaking and echoing because of us. The team leader and staff incharge of teaching the line dance were just laughing so hard - they couldn't get us to quiet down. I hope victory does it this time round.

We would be white again, thanks for the reminder of the door decorating-have to think of something.
