Viking Sun Rhine getaway

Anyone have any experience with this cruise?

Going in mid-October 2011....what about river levels during this time of the year?

My wife and I took the Treasures of the Rhine which is a longer version of the Rhine Getaway in 2009. Water levels were not an issue.

We were on the Sun two years ago. There is a lot of plumbing noise on the lowest deck. Also be warned there is no elevator or chair lift on this boat. Hopefully by now they have a more mature CD. Ours was very young and not the best we have had. We have been on more than a dozen river cruises and have another Christms market one planned for Dec. of this year. It is a beautiful cruise, but the boat is so long that sometimes it is berthed in industrial areas. It also carries 198 pax--a lot for a river cruise. Pat
