Rental Car from MCO to Port Canaveral

Can anyone tell me what the city is that I would choose if I'm doing a one way rental from Orlando to Port Canaveral. I'm not familiar with where to say the drop off would be since Port Canaveral was not an option on Hertz and Budget....or would anyone suggest a shuttle from the airport to the cruise terminal and then back again. We are two couples. Any other suggestions would be welcome as well

Avis, Hertz, Budget, Enterprise or Thrifty/Dollar. About a mile from the ships and they will shuttle you. Cape Canaveral. Rent the car!

Well, I don't know if things have changed since 2006, but as I recall the rental offices were in Cocoa Beach (which is just south of the port).

For car renting purposes, the drop off is considered Cape Canaveral.

There is a city called Cape Canaveral in Florida, which is just south of Port Canaveral. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_Canaveral,_Florida)

 

There is also an Air Force station called Cape Canaveral station which was part of the space program, but US manned space launches shifted to Kennedy Space Center in 1968. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_Canaveral_Air_Force_Station)
