Can anyone tell me the name of the maitre'd on the Spirit? We were on on Feb & Dessi was leaving the day we got off the ship. Thanks

Dessi was covering while Fernando was on vacation -- we had him last October and really enjoyed him last week --- we're just off the Spirit this morning. Fernando is a charming and accommodating man.

If you see him, please say hi from Jim & Alison from San Diego. :)

I will! We'll be on next Sunday. You probably didn't run into a server named Irena from Russia in the DR? I would love to have her as our server if she's still there. Thanks!

Sparks,

Just got off the Spirit (withCruzbuds). We also enjoyed our trip, despite a rocky start (3 hours late and in line 3 hours because of the Tsunami scare-not Carvival's fault).

Would have liked to see Mazatlan, but was not disappointed with Manzanillo, having never seen that port. Talked to 2 passengers that only scheduled the trip just to see Mazatlan, so they were a bit put off. Carnival had better re-think that. If there were as little crime in my city as there is in Mazatlan, they'd probably disband the entire police department. My only complaint was taken care of hastily:

For the 1st 2 days only about 1 in 5 of the hand sanitizers worked properly. I'm a clean freak and it bothered me, so I complained. Lo and behold, the next day they all worked perfectly.

Had terrific waiters in the MDR, couldn't have asked for better. Those 4 lbs. I gained will be gone by the end of this week, GUARANTEED!

Also, beat the casino out of $400 (Blackjack).

Happy sailing.
