Pirate Cruise & Shipwreck Snorkel or skip it?

Hello,

I am thinking of joining the above shore excursion, but not sure if it's worth snorkeling around shipwreck or should we simply just spend the day going to the beach and downtown Bridgetown.

Any suggestions or walking tour suggestions is greatly appreciated. What are some of the must do in Barbados?

Thanks

Pandahead:)

With or with out kids we've always had fun on the Pirate ship excursions...I say go for it! :)
There is a new Jolly Roger-type pirate ship coastal cruise

now being run by Black Pearl (not by Tall Ships, the original J.R. people)

There's a recent thread somewhere which provides a Facebook page at

-and I'm guessing they have a website somewhere (Google?)
