Miami airport to POM taxi question??

Hi Everyone,

What's the cab fare from Miami airport to Port of Miami? Also, has anyone used a cab and made a stop at a liquor store on the way? Additional charge for that? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I have not had them make a stop but the rate is a $24 flat rate from MIA to POM.

Per person? Thanks! I think that is what we are going to do because the cruise transfer is 16 per person. For the extra few bucks, it's just us and we don't have to wait for a full bus.

 

Wish we would be able to take the Everglades tour offered on the ship on our day or departure, but our flight leaves a bit earlier than the suggested time. Don't want to take the chance, or be stressing if we will make it.

 

Anyone have info. on a tour that leaves from the port that also takes you to the airport at the end, similar to the cruise ship offering?

It is a flat rate of $24 + tip for the cab - up to 5 passengers +bags if you get a mini-van cab. The flat rate does not apply if you stop for wine/soda/water - technically you are on the meter.:(

 

Some have reported that a $10 tip will cover the shopping stop and keep you on the flat rate - those negotiations are between you and your driver. ;)
