Fantasy Island recently?

Can anyone comment on Fantasy Island recently? How is the beach? I've read some older comments that the beach was not clean. Is there any natural shade or are unbrellas avaiable?

I would like to know, too. It is one of the places we are considering...My husband and son will do some diving, and I will hang out on the beach.

 

Anyone been there recently? All I need is a chair/chaise, and access to an adult beverage. Appreciate you sharing your experiences.

As I recall, "Fantasy island" is Island Marketing's name for the excursion to Parrot Tree Plantation. That may be different, recent cruisers might opine. But it's a beautiful resort. http://www.parrottree.com/
