thames_side Posted March 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2011 Thinking of an ex Soiuthampton cruise to Iceland/Norway next year. What about the cabins at the back. Would they be good for that trip? Perhaps a bit rocky? Anybody have any experience?
Rare C-Dragons Posted March 21, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2011 Absolutely loved the Sky suites on the aft, and think they would be perfect for viewing the scenery where you're going. If you want to make the most of your verandah try to book a Sky suite on the Resort Deck. There is an overhang on that deck that will protect you from the elements and give you privacy from peering eyes on the deck above. The other aft decks are not completely covered. We are doing the same cruise in July, but due to the higher prices, have chosen a C1 on the the Resort Deck.
thames_side Posted March 21, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted March 21, 2011 Did you not get a lot of noise from the Ocean View cafe and bar above you when you were on Resort Deck?

No, it was actually quite quiet, except for the sound of the ship's wake which is very soothing and relaxing.
