Debarkation in NYC

Does anyone know the earliest time we can get off the Carnival Glory in NYC? If we have a flight out of LGA at 12:30, is it going to be an issue? Thanks!

If your ship is scheduled to dock at 7 or 8 am like most do, if everything runs on schedule you should be OK. However, If any of the following happen you might miss your flght:

 

(1) The ship arrives late.

(2) CBP delays learing the ship for disembarkation

(3) CBP doesn't have a sufficient number of officers on hand to clear the passengers through customs and immigration in a timely fashion.

(4) There's an unusually long wait for a taxi (assuming that's how you're getting to the airport)

(5) Your taxi gets stuck in traffic

 

Numbers 2 and 3 unfortunately seem to happen fairly frequently.
