I agree, it won't be beach weather but probably won't be very cold weather either. We've done this trip for the past 2 years, the first time during the same time you're considering and last year we went about 2 weeks earlier. We had pleasant weather both times and last year people were using the pools and hot tubs on the ship. We're booked again in 2012.

We found the Canada/New England cruise to be one of the most relaxing cruises. Maybe it's because of the age group (50's up) you find on these cruises, so the entertainment is geared towards that age group. We enjoyed learning the history of each port and enjoying the beauty each port offered...Peggy's cove, Bay of Fundy...awesome. We prefer cruises to warmer climates but probably will do a cruise up north again one day. Loved seeing the whale spouts just about every morning as we ate breakfast! The weather was warmer than we thought it would be and we were able to be outside every day...just not in the pool!

Enjoy your cruise!

Just take a warm jacket, and you'll be fine. When we were in Quebec City October 2009, snow was expected, but it ended up being crisp and clear. We wore our LL Bean jackets, along with hats and gloves, and we were very comfortable walking around town.

We're going again in September 2012 and can hardly wait!
