Okay, now, I'll be getting to Day 4, St. Thomas!

Our plan for the day is to shop and take the skyride to paradise point. Hopefully the weather will be perfect for us!

We arrive in St. Thomas on time around 7am. My breakfast didn't come for some reason the specified time and we even waited an extra 30 minutes before deciding to head down to the buffet ourselves. Don't know what happened there....Breakfast was good, feeling better, so I had an omelet, 2 sausages, 1 pancake with syrup, and 3 hashrounds. It was delicious.

We have been here 2 other times and we just love the island! So beautiful, nice people, etc. When we got off around 8:30am, we decided to go to the left for a while to see what was down there. A bunch of shops and a marina was all that we found, but none of the shops were open. I had wanted to go to Charlotte Amalie but we wanted to get to Paradise Point first thing so we skipped that.

Shopping in front of the marina with half-million dollar boats sitting there!

The weather was so nice at 8:30am, lol!

We walked over SkyRide opens at 9am and we walk up to the window at 9:10am. We jump in line and wait about 10 minutes for the 1 of 2 batch of carts to come back down the mountain. We jump on and ride up, which only takes about 2 minutes.

Halfway up...

It's a really cool ride and we got to see other ships come in. Here is the Carnival Dream coming in.

Paradise Point had a steel drum individual up there, named Don, who apparently had a morning show. It was a good time up there, and their drinks were pretty good (we had their rum runner) and reasonably priced.

Here is Don with his live radio station....

Afterwards, we headed back down and did some shopping only to come up empty handed. Oh well, more money for us! Much to my surprise, there is a new Senor Frogs!!!

It is right there at the very end of the pier when you pull in and unlike any other I've seen, it has a pool in front of it. It actually just opened up 2 weeks ago but was jamming like it's been there forever!

Volleyball court?!?! I never did see anyone play though.

We didn't go hang out since we were hungry and my feet were killing me!! We couldn't decide what to do for lunch so we got back on the ship and boy am I glad I did! They had a fresh Mongolian Wok open and going, so I made my own fresh noodles and chicken oriental meal. It was sooo good! And best of all, it was free!!!

The rest of the day we spent onboard relaxing and then getting ready for dinner a little too early. Somehow we go off ship time and onto the local time, which made us an hour early to dinner. We sat down on Deck 5 to people watch until about 10 til 6 to head down to the Posh Restaurant. After dinner we went down to the casino for a while and DH won some money. After his good luck streak, we headed up to the hot tub. Spent about 30 minutes in there before getting out.

This was the end of the night for us.

Next up is Antigua.....

Disclaimer: These pictures turned out perfect on paper. After being scanned and then uploaded, they don't look so perfect, lol! I have the middle one in a frame in my house. The other 2 I'll be putting in my scrapbook I'm currently working on.

I have the FunTimes to scan in as well, but those will take a while scanning page by page so everyone can see all pages. Anyone have a better suggestion?:p

Thanks for taking the time to submit your review and I applaud both of you for thinking about what you are going to wear on formal night and executing it flawlessly. You both look absolutely amazing!! It's so nice to see people putting forth the extra effort for a special evening. You are both beautiful.

Thank you so much! My husband actually surprised me with this suit/tux. He lost a lot of weight 2 years ago and has kept it off but didn't have a suit that fit him good. He went to Men's Warehouse, got fitted and purchased it and best of all, it's the same colors from our wedding!:D I about cried when he tried it on for me.

And my dress, believe it or not was from my older sisters 1998-1999 Senior Prom!!!! I was afraid it would be "out of style" but I didn't feel that way.

Thanks for the photos and review. Headed on same cruise June 18 with whole family of 11 which includes 5 grandchildren. Anxious to see what you do in port and what if any tours you take.

We went up to Paradise Point in St. Thomas which you can do through the cruise, or on your own. I'll be getting to another excursion we do in Tortola, but other than that, that's all we did.

Today was another relaxing day. All we did was sleep in until 8:30am, go get breakfast around 9am and eat in the buffet before getting of the ship to walk around some. Not much to do here since we weren't impressed the first time. The locals are almost as bad as the locals in Nassau! We just said "No Thanks" as we continued to walk by them. We didn't see anything to buy, nor did we want to take a taxi anywhere so we go back on the ship to layout while there was hardly anyone to share it with.

I laid out, while DH was next to me in the shade, for about 1hr. before grabbing lunch. After that DH and I split up - He went back to the room for a bit, while I continued to lay out. A band was suppose to start around 3:30pm, which DH came back up for but it started raining, and that canceled it.

We had dinner in the MDR tonight since the menu sounded pretty good. I got a black bean and rice soup and a Sicilian chicken dish which was good as well, with extra green beans. DH had the Chilled Cocktail shrimp and the Jerk Pork. For desert it was our BV cake, but took the rest back to our room.

Bad storms rolling though:mad:

I'll do this now while I'm at work, thinking about it.
