GreenValleyDogWalker Posted April 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2011 We will be on the Caribbean Princess - arriving in Halifax on Sunday, May 22. We would like walk around the area on our own - including going to the Maritime Museum. (Then to a nice waterfront restaurant with a view, for beer and seafood. ) Does anyone know if the Museum is open on Sundays ? Thanks !
maryann ns Posted April 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2011 Yes it is, one to five pm in the off season and all day from June through October. I learned this with a simple google search by the way.

I learned this with a simple google search by the way. Thank You !! When I did a google search - the only place (the Museum website) where I could find the hours of operation only showed dates through 2009. Can you tell me where you found current info ?? Thank You !! I was on a different web-site I received a different answer from a tour operator in Halifax (Harbour Hopper Tours) - so decided to try to call the Museum myself - I called the gift shop in the Museum (should have done that in the first place, I guess !) - and they confirmed what the tour operator told me - that in May - the Museum would be open from 9:30 to 5:00 - 7 days a week (Info on web site is a bit confusing !!)
