Silly question - What's up w/ the weather? I have been checking the weather this week for my trip next week and is it possible - it is raining all week? Looks like most of the Southern Caribbean is raining all week. I am getting nervous for my trip this Sunday - did I mention nervous...

When we were there last week it said "Scattered Showers" and was 30-50% most days. We never saw a drop that lasted more than 10 minutes.

The dry season lasts until May I believe, although this is the transition time toward the rainier season.

I checked Barbados weather, however, and it seems to say "Showers" most days. That probably does mean actual rain, although I wouldn't expect it to be an all day thing. When we were in Barbados last year it also was forecasted as "Showers" and it rained in the AM but cleared up in the afternoon

It's been high-cloud-y whole week.

This time of year (Dry Season)

we often get lucky with a moisture stream coming up off the Venezuelan mainland

brings us some much needed moisture, usually rain at night.

Hot dry islands need rain sometimes for tourists to rinse off, after a dip in the sea? ;)

It's not only affecting you: I cruise out of here (Barbados) today

bound for P.Rico.

I expect it to be cloudy all the way up.

Screws up my photography no end!

Maybe it'll be better on the way back down..Apr. 24th. - 27th.

When Venezuela dries out, we will too.

I'm seeing the signs already, so you'll prob. be OK

For "rain all week" --Real Rain-- come back in Sept. or Oct.

you'll likely have your fondest wish fulfilled ..and then some! :D
