Does anyone know of any websites for shore tours?? The tours through Princess seam very expensive for what they offer.

Suggest going to the various ports of call forums where you are heading for suggestions.

 

Princess charges a markup, in return for not having to pay before you board the ship and if there is a problem the ship will wait if possible (as opposed to self book where you are on your own)

As Loonbeam says, check the Cruise Critic Ports of Call section for your specific stops to check for recommendations. Also, look for the roll call for your specific cruise to see if anyone is organizing a group in any of your ports of call.

...have you tried an online search for your particular ports, whatever they might be? There is, as far as I know, no single website that covers tours everywhere in the world, for Lima to Moscow to Sydney.

Although this can get you good information about what is available, the cruise Critic ports of call section will give specific thumbs up or down to named independent tour providers.

For that matter, so will TripAdvisor, which actually seems to have a larger reviewer base.
