fritzi164 Posted April 16, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2011 Looking forward to our cruise in June . Sailing to Bermuda from Bayonne. Have not decided if we will drive and leave car or get dropped off. Does anyone know the daily/weekly fees for parking? We are fortunate that we live only about a half hour from Bayonne. If you only live 1/2 hour away, have a family member drop you off and pick you up. We live 1 hour South and always drive to the port. That way you can bring the "kitchen sink" with you. :)
Leezen Posted April 16, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2011 Depending on which way that half hour is, you could consider the light rail. Yes, that means you're lugging everything on and off of it, but from the light rail there's a van service that charges only about $4 / person to drive you to the pier. I did this last summer and was thrilled at how cheap and easy it was. To be fair, it is a terrible option if you don't want to have to carry your things at all. Smitty83 Posted April 16, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 16, 2011 We're about an hour south as well (near Trenton). We're planning to drive and park for the week, but we aren't as close as you. The website says $19/day.
