Bringing alcohol

Hi! I am cruising for the first time in June on the Norwegian Dawn and wondering if I can bring wine and other alcohol aboard? Thanks in advance!

What you CAN do and what you are SUPPOSED to do are two different things.

Don't put any alcohol in your carry on luggage or you will get busted (I did), but the stuff in the checked luggage was no problem.

They confiscated the stuff in the checked luggage too. As I understand the "official" policy, you are not allowed to bring any hard liquor but you can bring wine they don't carry & pay a corkage fee.

I "smuggled" alcohol aboard in my checked luggage but discovered it was cheaper on the ship than what I had paid at home.
