REVIEW - Carnival Inspiration – April 9, 2011 From Tampa to Grand Cayman and Cozumel

I like your review, nice and concise.

How large are the tenders at Cayman [concerned about how long it'll take], and how were the crowds in general for the 2 ports?

In Grand Cayman there were two locations for tendering. One fwd, this one was for early Carnival Booked Excersions, it was well gaurded and needed a ticket to get on it. The Mid Ship tender point was for non Carnival early excersions and was easy to get to with no lines at 8:00 am. There seemed to be four tenders, two tenders at the ship and two at the dock. The Carnival Excersion tender was large I assume it held 150-200 people. The other was small, maybe it held 50 people. Getting back on the ship the line extended out of the port to the other tender dock. It took us about 15 minutes to get on a tender back to the ship even though the line was a block long at 2:00 pm or so.

The first pic is from our small tender leaving at 8 am showing he two tendering locations. The second one is of the large Carnival Excersion Tender. The other two is just the trip to the tender dock.

Thanks for the info. There's like a year and a half before I visit those ports on the Magic and I'm already preparing, ha!

No problem, I saw the Magic's 7 Day to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel, but this one came up and I did the pack and go special to get Grand Cayman in.

Now that I did the Sting Ray Tour, I could focus on the rest of the Island next time and maybe enjoy a little shopping.

More free wine? This seems to be a recurring theme!!!

Hey! I am working out the final details. I had a long talk with the Future Cruise Specialist and she emailed the Conquest to get information for me. Anyway, I have my FCC in hand an should be booked real soon. ;)

Joy you need to try that Florida Grove Wine. They have a store in New Orleans.
