Return Air?

On an Alaska cruise tour from Vancover to say Fairbanks (any cruise line), is the return air (or return bus) from Fairbanks to the point of embarkation included in the price or do you have to find your own way back to the point of embarkation??

Not sure exactly what you're looking for. Most cruisetours are either northbound - Vancouver to Seward cruise and then land part from Seward to Anchorage or Fairbanks or southbound with the land portion first. Ours was southbound so we flew in to Fairbanks to start the land portion then flew out of Vancouver at the end. So you're not doing a round trip as far as flights but flights to and from 2 different airports.

You are responsible for your own air. Instead of booking air back to the embarkation point, most people just book an open jaw ticket - Home to Embarkation Point, Cruisetour End Point to Home.

Are you asking if return to Vancouver is included? Most likely not, but check your land part itinerary.

 

Buying air tickets, choose "multi-city" - probably Alaska airlines will be the cheapest as they don't penalize for one-way flights.

I think if you are doing the land tour with the cruiseline they will take you to the ship for embarkation not sure how it works if you do the land tour post cruise
