OBC for Price Drop - when will it show?

Let me start by saying I'm a worrier. We received a $220 OBC per cabin for a price drop and my travel agent told me it was taken care of. Will I see this on any paperwork or do I have to wait until I'm onboard? I've read a few reviews where it didn't show up on board but after a few calls to the TA it was worked out. I just really don't want to call my TA from Rome once I board to get it.

Your TA should have a copy of your booking showing the OBC & should be able to give it to you right away. Do not wait until you are on the ship.

My wife and I have been on 20+ cruises with Celebrity and have always received any promised OBC within 48 hours after boarding.

Remember that it is an “on-board” credit to your ship-board account, and therefore, you will not receive the OBC until you are officially “on-board” the ship. It usually takes from 24 to 48 hours for the ship and the Celebrity HQ in Miami to confirm (via batch data transmissions) who is “on-board” the ship and what “on-board” credits are to be applied to what accounts.

However as the previous poster stated, always bring any documentation (such as emails from TAs or RCCL’s Investor Relations) that promises an OBC.
