Take a cab form hotel to either Victoria Bus station, National Express coach or Waterloo train station for a train.

there good early booking deals on both,

National Express or South West trains, also Megatrain do have cheap train tickets from Waterloo.

 

train station @ Southampton to cruise terminals is a £5 cab ride or a walk
