Queen or twin beds??

Looks like we are off again on another cruise - Tahitian Treasures. The booking confirmation says "queen bed configuration" - but, in an outside cabin, we prefer the twin beds configuration (as you can then get access to the window better). Can we ask for this to be changed beforehand - or just ask the cabin steward?? Anybody done this??

You can ask the TA to change it, however, I have had queen bed config on my personaliser before and when I got onboard it was a twin. I just ask my steward to change it to a queen, and it was no problem, so should be no problem vice versa :D

Agreed, better to set it in advance through your TA or cruise line depending who you booked with as it gives them more time to prepare (rather than you chasing it up on the day, and waiting until after you've settled in). However, if something goes wrong or it's forgotten, it can still be changed when you meet your steward.
