Questions about deposits and Cove balconies

We were in a Cove last May, under the Galley - and never heard a sound. Maybe we were just lucky. Might depend on how early you go to bed. We don't retire real early - so maybe that's the difference. Guess it depends on the day.... and if anything drops and comes crashing to the floor. It certainly doesn't seem to be a reason to worry - as our cruise for Sept has sold out of Cove Balconies - and we're still almost 5 months out.

Under normal circumstances there is virtually no noise from above. We were on an unusually turbulent cruise from New York and there were a few dish carts that fell over above our cabin but in calmer seas there was no issue at all...
