watersports dock open whenever at anchor?

Is the watersports dock open the whole time the ship is at anchor or is it only open certain hours? Do you need to reserve equipment or is it easy to just go down and grab something? Can you swim or snorkel from the back of the ship or is it just to use the equipment? Thanks!

I know the marina is open at Bora Bora and Moorea but it depends on the weather. Also the kayaks will depend on whether it is rough.

My suggestion is to also ask at the marina when you go to pick up your snorkel and fins the first day.

I dont think they allow snorkelling and swimming from the back of the ship.

In Bora Bora you can always go to the Motu to swim snorkel or kayak.

On another note my first cruise was also on Epirotiki Triton in 1995. Now its 38 or 39 later!

We went on a ship call the Epirotiki Voyager in Greece in 2000 - it was new then with decent decor. Epirotiki went bankrupt soon after.

The Epirotiki cruises were a blast. I don't even remember the ship but they were crazy port intensive (the first one did 10 ports in 7 days!) Good thing I was young! They had a ship sink and that did them in.
