Neets Bay vs Traitors Cove?

Haven't posted in forever, feels good to be back!

 

I have to select excursions for our August Disney Alaska cruise. Last time we were in Alaska in August 2008, I booked all of our excursions separately rather than booking through Pincess. This time, it is just a one week cruise round trip from Vancouver. I haven't spent much time on planning since I consider it an "in between" trip, just to tide us over until our next big Alaska adventure.

 

Last time we did Traitor's Cove through Island Wings. Disney has a flight plane trip to Neets Bay that I am considering. We are in Ketchikan Aug 21 so it is approximately the same time of our trip in 2008. Is a trip to Neets Bay at that time of August a good idea?
