We were supposed to visit Sochi as part of the 2010 World Cruise but could not tender due to the high winds. It is a tender port. You will not dock there. See if anyone on the European Port of Call board has been there before. All I know is that if you use a private tour company be sure they can get you a visa or understand how that works.
