Travel from Florence to Milan Malpensa Airport

Recommended Posts

After our cruise ends in Venice, we are staying a few extra days in Florence. Our flight home is from Milan. Does anyone know if there is a high speed train that goes directly from Florence to Milan's Malpensa Airport or do we need to go into Milan Central and transfer to another train or bus to get to the airport?

Thanks

Joanne

Yes, there is a direct train from Florence to Malpensa; it stops at Bologna and Milan but you don't get off or change trains. There aren't many each day, however:

7:00 AM Florence, 9:38 AM Malpensa

2:00 PM Florence, 4:38 PM Malpensa

Another question - is there a website to order the tickets?

thanks
