shuttle service from Miami South Beach hotel to For Lauderdale Port

Help please... suggestion of a shuttle service

Girlfriend flying in from Australia and myself flying in from Canada and we want to stay in Miami South beach for a couple of days before we sail out of Fort Lauderdale on the Freedom. We need a shuttle service to take us from hotel in South Beach to Fort Lauderdale port.

Are there any hotels that would do this for us?

its a bit of a jaunt..not likely they will take you from Mia to FLL.

 

You have a couple of choices...

 

1. rent a car and return it to FLL airport the morning of your cruise and catch a cab over to the cruiseport

 

2. Try SAS or Quality Limo..both have been rated highly by many CC members.

Try googling Florida Sunshine Shuttle - looks like about $95/p.p.

We used Super Shuttle to get from port to MIA. I'm unsure of their route restrictions but they were really reasonable and reliable, would use them again.

Probably cheaper to rent a car.

Our Super Shuttle rate from POM to MIA was a flat rate of $59.

thanks all did email SAS and they said no they can not pick up from hotels in Miami :(. I just might trying renting a car through hotwire or priceline it will probally be cheaper for the two of us.

A taxi on that trip will likely run you $80-85+ :eek: Larry's Limos has been suggested on these boards for Miami service -- probably a little cheaper than a cab, but not by much.

 

A rental car will be your cheapest option, but either a taxi or car service will save you the hassel of dropping the car off and catching a shuttle bus to the port. Good luck! :)

I priced renting a car, priceline was around 20 dollars..... it will be cheaper than taking cab or limo. the advantage we can tour around Miami for the day. I will be picking it up at Fort Launderdale airport and returning it there. We will take SAS from FLL airport to cruise ship for 6 dollars each. Once again thank you for your help
