Go to http://www.cruisetimetables.com and in the second list of ports, plug in the Jamaica ports (Ocho Rios or Montego Bay) and choose the month you want to travel. It will show you who is going to be there and when. EM

Jamaica? Really?

 

Hell Jamaica is the only port in the Caribbean that I have no interest getting off the boat next time we dock there (if ever).

 

Still to each his own. One thing I noticed is Princess has very few cruises going to Jamaica. Not sure if that is intentional or not. Royal Caribbean on the other hand seems to dock there in half the cruises out of the year (likely as a filler port).

One thing that may or may not be a contributing factor, given Princess's LGBT-friendly policies, is Jamaica's reputation as being one of the most murderously homophobic places on Earth. I actually enjoyed a day in Ocho Rios several years ago, but until things change, I won't be back.

Having been to Jamaica several times before, I would only get off the ship if it docked it Ocho Rios. And that would be to go to Margaritavillr!!
