Airline Check-in....

This is possibly a silly question but would like to know. I booked my airfare for my upcoming trip to Europe through RCI. I booked the Delta flights going & coming since I get reward points, but I have their Skyteam Partner Alitalia going from MIA to Rome then Rome into Venice. On the return I'm on Delta Rome to JFK then into MIA. When I check in at MIA on the outbound, do I go to the Delta desk since that is the carrier I booked or to the actual Alitalia desk which I believe is at another area? Never booked a flight then get placed on the partner flight! Thanks

You always check in with the airline on which you are actually flying. If you are flying on Alitalia check in with them.

Thanks, that is what I thought but then my mind started to wander......that could be really bad at time! :)
