Went last night to talk and dance with the girls, had trouble trying to get on this site and trouble again tonight. Glad I could finally get on.

i still have some of my cold but am tired of missing my classes so go anyway. Probably should wait for a while but only a couple more classes before a break.

We have been trying to get this one tennant evicted and finally had the court day today and the judge did sign the eviction. Now the sheriff will come and move her out. She has not paid rent for many months and I don't think she had any intention of ever paying. Its a long process to get them out.

Bill's daughter is supposed to come over tomorrow again, she didn't come last week because she didn't want to catch my cold.

our bunco isn't until May, would be nice if they had it more often. Have fun at yours!

Sharon, it must have been a system wide site problem, as I too had and could not get on yesterday at all. So I am glad to hear it was not just me.

Wow, that is too bad about evicting a tennant. She must have been a real deadbeat. So how much did it cost you to go to court? I would assume that besides the lost rent, the court costs as well. Too bad.

It was good that you were able to get out with your friends, and that you are going to work out as well.

We woke up to a light dusting of snow this morening. With the wind it is just raw outside today. But next week temps in the 50's and even 60's.

I pickup a lady that lives in our same town and take her with me each month. She is handicapped, so I help her out.

When I came home for lunch today. Bill said he might be interested in going to WW with me. That really took me by surprise. He seemed to be upset as he had a Dr's appointment today and the Dr told him that he has put on 50 lbs since his last visit. He has not exercised in 1 year. He did so good last year and now nothing.

Enjoy and have a good weekend.

We gave the attorney a check for $500, they still have some of it left but still have to pay for a storage unit for the sherrif to put her stuff in when they move her out. The landllord has to pay for the first months rent on the storage unit, and the sherrif gets something too. Not fair but we are also going after the back rent and will include any costs to fix any and all the damage she has done to the apartment. Probably won't get anything unless she has a job where her wages can be garnished. We are starting another eviction on Monday too, Bill has been way to lenient with these renters.

I can't believe your Bill has gained that weight back, he did so good. Not nice to say but now he doesn't look younger than you anymore I bet.It would probably be easier to eat right if both of you are doing WW.I hope it works for him as good as it has worked for you.

Bill's 2 daughters came tonight. The one cut his hair and then cut mine too. I told her just to trim it up as I wanted to keep it a little longer than it had been cut before. She did a good job and it all kinda blends together.

We did nit fet the snow but its just too darn cold outside!

Sharon, you are right about getting screwed. How old is this lady, and she is not working? Now you have another one as well. What is going on there? I have seen pictures where they move everything out to the curb. Making you pay for storage does not seem right at all. Some people move all of their stuff into those units and never make any payments and never come back for the stuff either.

Well for Bill, he cannot exercise for an entire year, and then do not exercise for a year. It just does not work. He did have the back surgery and then developed the tennis elbow. But still he could have started back much earlier than now. He say's he is starting back to swimming on Monday. Instead of swimming every other day, he said he is going to swim everyday, Monday-Friday. I guess we shall see.

Yes, it has been down right cold out. Only a small dusting yesterday of snow and some walkways were slick. So we have to survive a few more days of this stuff, and then I heard that next week temps will be in the 50's and 60's.

Tomorrow, we will take Bill's son out for dinner in his town where he lives in Naperville. He was in Australia for his birthday. He was there with his son as well who is turnning 11 in a few weeks. Bill's son just truned 40.

You can't go in and take the tenants things out and put them by the curb in Wi like you can in Il. Most of the laws are for the tenant. I don't know how old she is but she has 3 kids, so not sure if she works or not there is no husband.

Bill just has not pursued the people snd they got to know that nothing woukd happen if they' didn't pay. When he started to have me help him I knew we were going to have to get some letters out telling them to pay up or they would get a 5 day notice and then an eviction court date. So we have some that responded as to how they were going yo catch up, one volunteered to move and a few more will be getting letters from the lawyer.

I had forgotten thay Bill had the back surgery and couldn't exercise. He probably will lose the weight, he was successful the last time.

That was a nice trip Bill's son took, nice you can celebrate with him.

Sharon, I did not know that his rental places were in WI. I thought it was close to where you live. Yes, certainly the laws there are with the tentants and not the landlord. I hope everything works out in your favor and that you do not get stuck with too many costs getting rid of the deadbeats.

Well as far as Bill goes, we shall see just what he will do or not do. Yes, it was partly due to the past surgeries and part for doing such an intense workout for an entier year. I guess after the surgeries, he could not do things and partly he just wanted to lay off and rest. But the laying off and resting has gone too far.CC

It is extremely very windy this morning. I guess around noon we will be getting rain this afternoon. We will leave here around 3 to meet up with Bill's son at an Irish Pub close to where he lives in Naperville. It will take us close to an hour to get there as we are meeting him at 4.

Enjoy the rest of today, and don't get blown away.

We had two couples, who are dancing friends call and ask if they could come over this afternoon. The one gal had baked a cake for Bill's birthday and they wanted to celebrate with him. So they came over and we all had a nice visit. It was good to get together with them again.

Yesterday our pet sitter came over and brought a coffee cake. She also asked if I could let her dog and a visiting dog at her house out while they went to a wedding close to Chicago on Sunday.I said sure I could do that. She brought the coffee cake because I won't let her pay me. Actually it only takes a little time and its just down the road from us. Today the visiting dog did not like me and the only way I could get her outside was to prop the storm door open and go on outside myself. It barked at me the whole time but did finally pee. Her dog knows me so she came right out and let me pet her.

It has been cold, rainy and windy most of the day here too. At least its not snow!

Sharon, yes it was very windy yesterday all day long. It took us about an hour each way going out to eat with Bill's son. We got home just before dark. Now for the rest of this week the temps are supposed to be in the 50's and 60's.

Well that was nice of them to bring over things you can enjoy and eat. Always a challenge when a dog does not like you. But you were smart to handel the way you did. You kind of out smarted the dog.

Just another week of work for me. The jerk does not believe in holidays. If he could really get away with it, he would have us working all of them.

We had 5 deer in the back yard this evening. They must stay pretty much in this area, they've been here several times now. Always amazing to see something that big that can take care of themselves.

What are your plans for Easter, hope its a nice day. Did I tell you Bill's kids are having everyone over on Saturday instead of Sunday. I am in charge of bringing dessert. Probably will get a quarter or Half sheet cake and have them write Happy Birthday Bill on it.

Had a good workout this morning and plan on going to water aerobics tomorrow. The zumba class has been so good lately almost hate to not go. Too bad they are on the same days? same times. When the new gal takes over in another week the Tuesday class is changing from 9am to 10:30 am. Might be able to go to both, will have to see how it goes.

I finally got my wedding ring fixed. I had lost the diamond out of it last fall. I picked out a round diamond instead of getting a marquie like I had. The marquie was so pointed I kept scratching Bill. So I had the stteing changed and got the round one. It turned out beautiful.

Thought it was supposed to be nicer tomorrow but now they are saying its goinn to be cooler.

Sharon, we are going instead of the usual place that offers the % of you age off the bill on your birthday, to this Knights Of Columbus for Easter Dinner on Sunday. We have gone there before on Friday's, but never like this. So we will give it a try.

That is good that Bill's kids are doing the dinner. Helps you to not do so much of the work. Also a good idea having it on Saturday versus Sunday, where a lot of places will be very crowded. I went yesterday afternoon to WW, and I am now in lifetime as I have met my goals. I cannot go 2 lbs above or below to maintain this status.

Yes, I agree that even though they keep saying warmer, with the high winds we have had, it has seemed much cooler. Well tomorrow is April 1 and temps going into the 60's. Then in 17 days we are leaving for our cruise. Like you for us it has been a very long time since we have been on a cruise.

Well with both classes on the same day, you can either alternate each week or do them both on the same day. By doing them both on the same day, will really tire you out at the end.

We are going to Bill's daughters house for Easter. She has had Christmas and Thanksgiving too. Everyone seems to like to go there and everyone brings things and her sister helps her. So all is good, it would be too crowded for all of us to go to a restaurant.

Congratulations on reaching goal, you really kept at it, bet you feel really good and look good too! Did Bill go with you?

Guess they were wrong about it being cooler today. We got up to 60 annd it felt nice.

It seemed like your cruise was so far away and now its less than 3 weeks. What ship and where are you cruising to?

You are probably right about it being too much to do both classes, it will depend on how the new water aerobics leader teaches. She is coming Thursday to observe and then next week when our old leader leaves will take over.

Sharon, it is still good that someone else is hosting Easter for you both. Just bringing a desert is not too bad for you. This will be the first time eating a holiday at the Knights Of Columbus. Bill decided to try something different. We have gone there for AYCE fish on Fridays. Since I do not eat fish Bill does and I find something else on the buffet.

Bill did not go with me. But he started back to swimming yesterday. He said the Dr's office made a mistake on his weight. He weighed himself at the fitness center and he said he was up to 240 not 250 like the Dr's office said.

Bill booked this cruise over 2 year's ago, and now it is finially here. We leave hear on April 17, flying to SFO. Then the next day we fly from SFO to HNL. We board the Celebrity Solstice on April 20. Cruise to Maui, then Kona, and Hilo, past the volcano. Then 5 sea days, and I do not know how I will set still. We end in Vancouver, and then we take a shuttle to SEA, and leave from SEA on May 3. We have a nice cabin in the aft of the ship cornor deck 8. I think this ship holds around 2800 pax.

Well a good idea maybe to alternate exercises each week, or pick the one you like the most and stick with that.

Yes, 2 days in the 60's and I heard someplaces may make it into the 70's. But then I had heard cold on Friday and maybe snow.

That sounds like a nice trip. I bet they will have all kinds of things for you to do on the ship. You can usually be as busy as you want. I don't like to just sit either, while Bill enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the water go by,

Bill went with me tonight, Tom the owner made tacos fixings for all of us. And since it was Bill's birthday he decided to go. The girls had all said they would bring him a card last week so were surprised when he actually came in.

The water aerobics instructor is teaching her last class tomorrow, they are moving to Tennessee. The new instructor is coming to see what we have been doing. After class we are having lunch up in the restaurant.

What a beautiful day today, a great day for a birthday!

Sharon, I am so sorry that I forgot to wish Bill a happy Birthday yesterday. I had remembered that his Birthday is no April Fools Joke. So I am glad that he was able to get out with you all to celebrate such a nice day. it got up to 72 here yesterday. Now today much cooler and much needed rain.

So today you are doing your last class with the old instructor and then wishing her off with a lunch and remenanicing. Enjoy and I hope you had a good class today. It will be interesting to see how the new instructor will do.

Yes, of course we will not know what type of activities they will have until we get on the ship. The first sea day is the CC get together. The second sea day will be a cabin crawl and poker draw. The third sea day will be a slot pull in the casino. So there are already things planned from the group and other things that the ship will host. They have glass blowing on this ship. So we are excited to be doing this as it has been a very long time.

We had a good last class and nice lunch, although even though we were the only ones there it took over an hour to get the food after we ordered. There was about 15 of us. The new instructor was supposed to be there today but never showed up, not a good sign.

The ship you are on is a nice size, we don't like the big mega size ships. Is there an active group on CC for your cruise?

We had rain this morning but then the sun came out and it was nice.

I think next week I might have to call the dr, can't seem to get over this cough and tired of not feeling good.

Got a 1/4 sheet cake to take for Easter, they are getting more expensive all the time, it was $21.99. Its decorated with a few flowers but not alot.

tomorrows Friday!

Sharon, Good Friday for most everyone, but not for us. The jerk, would say this is a good Friday to be working.

Yes, I was thinking the very same thing. If she cannot show up for the last class to see the transition, then what will she be like for the regular sesions?

For us here as well, we got thunderstorms yesterday early morning, and then the rest of the day was good. I don't know if we are getting rain/snow mix today or not, but temps a bit cooler.

Everything is going up as far as food prices. I also think that they use holidays to inflate the prices as well. At least you are only bringing the cake, and Bill's daughter is doing the rest of the prepration. Also having it tomorrow will not be as crowded versus in having it on Sunday. Most places will be packed.

The ship does look very nice. The ship is in Australia just now and repositioning to Alaska for the summer season. The CC group is well over 100. So a very large group, but I also heard that the meet and mingle parties are not as good as they used to be. I am looking forward to the glass blowing demo's on the ship, as well as other activities and shows.

I am sorry to hear that you are still not feeling better. Bill has water corked inside of one of his ears. So he is waiting for it to clear before he continues swimming. I guess one of his ear pluggs was not secured properly, thus lettinf the water inside.

Enjoy the day today,

Kathy

I always wear ear plugs when I am going to get my head under water because I get water stuck in my ear too so I know how he feels. In our water aerobic class we don't put our head under, might get splashed but not that much.

I got a pretty cake, and bought some fancy cookies at the bakery. I also made 2 dozen deviled eggs. So that is my contribution for tomorrow.

I got time to run into Kohls this afternoon. I found a pretty kind of dressy top on sale. I also had a $10 off coupon. I saved $28 and I paid $2.10 for the top. I might wear it tomorrow.

Do you think that all CVS Pharcies have walk in clinics?

Sharon, I would think so as they are always advertising that on TV. Bill went yesterday as we have a CVS in the town next to us in IN. So he went yesterday, and instead of having water isnde of his ear, it was wax built up and against the ear drum. So they washed it out and his ear was infected, so they gave him 2 perscriptions. He just cannot swim until this is cleared up.

I guess I never really thought about your water aerobics as it makes sense that you do not put your head under water. So getting a good upper body workout as well as your legs does a good workout for you.

You are always getting good deals at Kohl's. So it is good that you did get a nice top to wear today. I hope you enjoy and have a good Easter dinner today with the family. We changed our dinner for tomorrow to the place that offers the % off your bill on your B-Day. I was told that the Knights Of Columbus would be very noisy.

So enjoy your day today and have a nice Easter.

I think there might be a CVS about 45 min away, almost went on Friday but Bill wanted me to call first and see if they had one but I couldn't find a phone number. So then I got kind of mad and told him to forget it. I will wait until Monday and call my dr.

We had all but one of Bill's sons come today. He has a marina and I think they were putting in the pier, the ice is almost all off the lake. One son brought his girlfriend, she looks pretty tough. Looked like she had tanned her face to a crisp and was way, way too outgoing. Kept putting her arm around Bill, calling him dad and even kissing him on the cheek. He hated it! I told him there wasn't anything I could do he should of told her to stop it, it was the first time any of us had met her. Don't see what he sees in her!

Glad to get home was a long day. Now I will go to church tomorrow morning. Hope you have a good dinner and a Happy Easter.

Sharon, a very Happy Easter to you and Bill. Weather wise it should be a very nice day today.

I would look up the CVS on yp.com and call them to make sure they have 1 and what their hours are. I know around here they have it posted the hour that they go to lunch. It is from 1:30 to 2:30. So if you showed up once they are going to lunch, then you will be waiting for an hour.

That is very strange about the girlfriend. I agree she sound way over the top. You are right, Bill should have said something to her. But I am glad you has a good day yesterday and besides the over the top girlfriend, it soulds like you had a good day.

Enjoy and have a good Easter today.

I went to church this morning armed with a box of cough drops. We had the trumpets playingand it was very nice.

Bill did not feel so good today, hope he is not getting something. I think I might have pnuemonia, have a very deep cough . I'm calling my dr tomorrow. We'll see how he feels and maybe call his dr too. We have the antena guy coming tomorrow to Bill's house. So would have to schedule appmnts around that.

I worked outside pulling some weeds out and now have a meatloaf in the oven. How was your dinner?

Was nice outside but turned cool around 7pm.

Sharon, you have to be very carefull about that. You could have the walking around type. I would not let it go too much longer and get to see someone who can tell you exactly what is going on and treat it now.

We were able to get right in and to a table next to a window where we had our own space to sit quietly and have a nice backed ham dinner. One of the few times where we both ordered the very same thing.

It is in the 50's here now. But like you said, it warms up during the day and then turns cold later on.

I was just saying that yesterday. There is never any problem with the weeds. Not matter what the weather is, the weeds seem to always come out strong.

I hope you both will be feeling better soon,

Kathy

Went to the dr this afternoon, she said this cough would go away by itself in time but she gave me a prescription with codiene in it so I don't cough so much at night and told me to take the plain Mucinex during the day. Nothing will cure it but these two things should cover up the symptons. I'm a little worried about the codiene, I told the druggist that when I took oxycodone I got a terrific headach. He said they weren't the same medicine but were related.

We had the anntena guy out and I completely forgot that we needed to get a new TV. The one Bill had connected to dish was about 20 inches and about 20 years old, not really but very old and no updating box that all the old ones need that arent connected to Dish or Direct. So he got it all wired up and I picked up a 40 in TV at Walmart on my way back from the dr. He is coming back tomorrow to hook it up for us since its supposed to rain anyway so he didn't have any other work scheduled.

Sharon, that is what they all say about things getting better on their own. Except who has the time to just sit around and wait for things to get better on its own. So it is good that she gave you something to help you sleep and the relieve the caugh.

Yes, it is supposed to be raining for the next several days. We do need the water, but not all at once. I even heard tha Thursday the weather could be severe and temps in the 70's. Today just damp and overcast.

I lost .6 at weigh-in last night. I have been trying on cloths for the cruise and some of my pants are too loose now. So sitll going over all of my cloths to see the one's that will fit the best.

Stay dry,

Kathy

Good you are checking your clothes now so you can make sure if they don't fit you can buy some new ones. Whatever you are doing to lose sure is working for you. You have to be careful now to not lose too much so you keep your lifetime.

I only took 1 tsp of medicine last night instead of the 2 it called for. But it worked I slept without coughing and I didn't get a headache.

The new water aerobic leader did come today. She is probably in her 30's, very pretty and wears quite a bit of makeup. She had great music and no stopping in between songs for the whole hour. I think most everyone liked her but I did hear one gal say "I didn't even sweat".

We disn't get any rain yet hope that stuff coming Thursday isn't too bad.

Glad the election will be over and we don't have to hear campaign commercials anymore.
