ItalianGuest Posted June 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2011 Good evening, I'm looking for a 7-day mediterranean cruise for next October ( Greece o Canary ) but since there are only longer ones, I'm thinking to cut one a bit and disembark few day before the end... is this possible? Have yo ever experienced It? Thank in advance, ItalianGuest PS I know that I can call the cruise line but since my English is very poor, I prefer to try this way before. :o
Rare LHT28 Posted June 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2011 You probably could cut it short but you will still pay for the longer cruise I would check with the cruise line though The do have a 7 day leaving Nov 1st doing Greece but not until 2012 There are 2-7 nights cruise leaving Oct 29th & Nov but not to Greece http://www.oceaniacruises.com/findcruise/westernmediterranean/ins111029/default.aspx http://www.oceaniacruises.com/findcruise/westernmediterranean/ins111105/default.aspx

Paulchili Posted June 3, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 3, 2011 It is very likely that you can do it - we have done it on other cruise lines, so I would assume you can do it on Oceania as well. Caveat - must get permission from cruise line beforehand in writing - not on the ship.

That is such good advice that I may have it printed on tee shirts. :D
doubledobles Posted June 3, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 3, 2011 To visit a particular religious shrine, my husband needed to get off the ship at one port and pick it up the following day at the next port. We asked for and received a letter stating that he could do this. He had no problem doing this.

jane02 Posted June 5, 2011 #8 Share Posted June 5, 2011 Yes we did this last year on Oceania. We got off in Istanbul a day earlier. There were not problems. We just advised them on board when we arrived. Kellie
