Hello, everyone! We're sailing to Bermuda in a short 11 days or so and we're so excited!! Thank you very much for everyone's terrific posts - they are incredibly helpful and insightful!

We're booked in a Deluxe Verandah Suite !!!!! Any tips or advice? Has anyone been in one recently? How is the a/c and toilet situation?? I read others had problems, just curious??

Anything spectacular in Bermuda we MUST see?? Any terrific restaurant advice???

What's the ONE thing we can't miss?

Thanks, in advance, for all your posts!!

Every visit to Bermuda must include a day at Horseshoe Bay and the surrounding coves. Followed closely by a visit to Elbow Beach.

Of course DW says her "not-to-miss" place is the Island Shop in downtown Hamilton which is located down by the Birdcage end of town.

DW and I will look for you on board. We're sailing with our friends from Delaware who are first time cruisers. We'll be in adjoining Lanai cabins

on the port side where the aft deck doors are. Let's hope for the best.

DW and I stayed in a port side Lanai last year and loved the view over the harbor. We reserved an O/V on Lower Promenade at first then jumped on the opportunity to upgrade when the prices for the Lanais came down at the 45 day mark. Plus we discovered that our dear friend is claustrophic

so we thought the larger window-door would do her some good.

We're looking forward to a beautiful sail and great stay at Bermuda.
