Royal Caribbean to base Voyager of the Seas in Sydney

Any news when the repositionings will be out. We were originally looking at doing the Voyager out of Venice to Istanbul next year and are sorry it was pulled. Now we are flirting with the idea of the repostioning from Shanghai to Sydney. It would be nice to sail into our home port again.Jennie

Navigator is replacing Voyager from New Orleans.

 

Quick side note: Navigator is coming from Florida, so Florida is pretty much losing a Voyager-class ship. But Florida wasn't supposed to get a Voyager-class ship after last winter anyway. Navigator was supposed to be in Europe this winter, but they decided to pull out of Europe in the winter except for the Independence. Florida is getting a winter Voyager-class one season longer than planned.

 

I don't think so, unless you have new information. For this winter, Navigator is replacing Voyager from Galveston, and Voyager is heading to New Orleans. I haven't heard anything about shifting Navigator from Galveston to New Orleans.

OK - So I guess I am just out of the loop. Navigator will be going to New Orleans, instead of Galveston, in 2012. That sounds good to me, but sad for the Texas folks.

Hate to see Voyager go. We loved it in TX and are following it to New Orleans in 2012. Whoever gets it is really lucky. It has a great captain and crew.
