Anyone recently done this? What star, area and bid and what did you get? The Florida Departures Board has a sticky with this.

I have been trying or a couple of days now for Oct 15, with no luck. I think it is too early yet, but wanted to try. I went up tp $90 on a 2 1/2*. Having been checking hotel after hotel- was just on Travelocity and found The San Luis Resort for $125.25 plus $17 and change for taxes. Jumped on it- even the Holiday Inn was more money.

Anyone know which 3 star and 3 1/2 star hotels you get on Priceline when you "name your own price"? They have 3 stars that retail for $85, but when I bid $65 I dont get accepted?
