can anyone tell me the latest time we will be able to get off????

i am trying to book a taxi from Rome to the airport... also, if they give us a time that's too early, will we be able to change it, to coincide with transfers??? many thanks..

I assume that your cruise ends in Rome? If so, it actually ends in Civitavecchia, 90 min from Rome. HAL will try to have everyone off the ship by 9:30. EM

you should be able to choose your elected time to disembark. Your only risk is if disembarkation is held up for some reason. Most taxis know this. The ship is usually cleared on time though.:)

Before you can take a taxi from Rome to the airport, you have to get from the port to Rome. That is about a 90 minute ride.

If you don't have too much luggage to schlep you could take a taxi from the port to the train station and then take the train to Rome and take a taxi from the Rome train station to the airport. Otherwise you might want to think about using HAL's transfer bus from port to airport. Pricey but convenient.

Rome in Limo took us directly from the port (Civitavecchia) to the airport (FCO). It took 45 minutes. Very easily done and no need to go to Rome first. That wouldn't make any sense unless you were sightseeing in Rome before taking your flight home.
