Getting from Miami Airport to ....

We are flying into Miami, thanks to FF miles, but will be cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale. We had to fly one day earlier to get the lower miles availability. We have booked a room at the Marriott Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel.

 

What is the best way to get there from the Miami airport that is convenient and affordable?

 

Thanks in advance for your help. We leave tomorrow and I have taken care of everything but transporttion to the hotel.

When you say "we", I am assuming more than 1 person. In that case, I would think that a 1-way car rental might be most convenient and cheapest. Do a good search to find the best rates, because they do vary.

Thanks! We went with the one way car rental for our trip from MIA. Total with all fees is 35.70. Even after you add gas and $20 to park at the hotel we are still ahead of the taxi after tip and the shuttle. Thanks for the discount code I found on another thread.
