I just discovered today that I cannot see the screen on my nook color while I am wearing my polarized sunglasses. Does anyone else have this problem? can you see your nook screen with regular sunglasses?

 

I can see it with my sunglasses no problem and for the person who wants to have magazines on the reader the nook color lets you subscribe to most magazines. My wife loves it for her its just like reading the magazine with ads and all!!:D:D

So, I read earlier that e-readers can be in carry-on. Are they not treated as 'computers' when going through security?

I was asked to remove mine from my bag, just like the airlines, when we went through ship security.

I travel often and always with my Nook, I have never been asked to remove it. They really had your remove it? Wow, I just returned last week from a trip and it was in my bag with all of my other stuff. I wonder why????
