Trade routes to Mumbai - Jeddah cancelled

Does anyone know why this port was cancelled on this sailing? US TA states that there were problems in getting visas to US citizens but that did not stop visits to Libya in the past where UK citizens could get off (but not US citizens).

There's got to be more to this, IMO.

Might be because Hajj has just ended the week before. There are literally millions of pilgrims leaving Saudi Arabia at that time.

They now have cancelled the Jeddah stop on the return voyage so I guess it has nothing to do with Hajj. Wish they would let us know though
