Bon Voyage charge question

When you order from Bon Voyage dept. when do they charge you? Do you give then a cc # over the phone and they charge you then? I want to order a surprise for my dh and don't want it to show up on his cc that was used to book the cruise.

Yes, they charge you right away.

I ordered some Bacardi today from BV. Yes, you give them your booking # and CC#, then they charge it immediately.

I didnt order until about a week before the cruise, so it didn't show up on the bill until after we returned. If he doesn't check his statement online regularly, you can order as soon as the last bill before the cruise arrives in the mail.

If he checks online, how about a prepaid card from Walmart etc... Happy Cruising!
