happylady Posted July 1, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2011 Has Carnival stopped including Limon as a port of call? I've been researching the cruises for December 2012 and would love to visit the Panama Canal.
Catrin Posted July 1, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2011 We took the Liberty to Panama in 2008. Great cruise, also included St. Martin and Costa Rica. I am not sure if it is included in any itinerary now, however.

It seems Nov - Dec 2012 has not been released yet? or just not for the Freedom? but I still see she does the Costa Rica/Panama cruise.
Thoth Posted July 1, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 1, 2011 I've done the canal as a shore excursion from Colon Panama. Great...go for it ! The ship docked and I rode a ferry through two of the locks. In Limon Costa Rica I did a boat & train tour through the rain forest.
