Anyone sail from Cape Liberty?

If you have, would you consider it an improvement over sailing

from the PST in NY?

 

What would be the pros and cons?

Pro's of sailing out of Cape Liberty is the fact that I don't have to go into Manhatten and deal with traffic or any bridge/tunnel tolls. Parking is about a third of the cost in Cape Liberty verses Manhatten. I think it's $8.00 per day verses $24.00.

Guess it doesn't make much of a difference. Still get to see

the familiar harbour sights along the way, albiet a shorter

trip down the bay.

 

 

I'll be checking it out for myself in Sept on Zenith!

Will be going on Zenith in August. We never sailed from NYC, but coming from LI I much prefer going to Bayonne than NYC. :D
