Does anyone know how much the taxi ride from the Copenhagen airport to the center of town costs? Which currencies do the taxi drivers accept?

The cost is around 220 D Krona, a little more if you pay by credit card. I don't know if $ or Euros are accepted, but I doubt it. There is also a metro.

The taxis do take credit cards, so you don't have to have cash. Also, the easiest way to get downtown is by metro for sure, unless you have a lot of luggage. We have stayed at the Hilton at the airport twice and used the metro to get downtown though we did take a taxi when we were going to the ship.

If you want to use a credit card tell the driver when you get into the taxi. Otherwise be prepared to pay cash - in DKK "krone"

Ask for a corner room and you can get a good view of the Airport

and the Orestad Bridge

Orestad a completly new subburb is one tain stop down then a Metro into the city.

 

Or the City Direct on another Metro Line.underneath the hotel.

took taxi to town center,,and only 150 kroners,,,about $30.00,,,got kroners inside airport at kiosk,,,after all nite flight and luggage,did NOT want to bother with metro ,,bus,,etc...this was very convenient,no hassle,only 20 mins...worth every penny...PS..you paid a lot for flight,cruise,etc,,why quible about a few bucks...??either way,,great city and really enjoyed it..;)
